PAUL DALZIEL - EEL (August 2012)... Thank you again for the hospitality provided to the participants in the Education Employment Linkages Colloquium last month. We were absolutely delighted with the venue. This was an event involving four international guests and participants travelling from all over New Zealand. All the feedback we received indicated that the participants were very pleased with the way the rooms were set up and with the quality of the catering during the day and at our colloquium dinner. All our interactions with yourself and your staff went very well.
PETER IRELAND - DIA (September 2012)... I was very impressed by the help you provided in such a well organised and relaxed way. We really enjoyed the venue, and thought the use of two rooms worked out particularly well. The extra things you provided such as the little comp. drinks tickets, and reserved signs were a great illustration of your attention to detail and going the extra distance, and were noted on favourably by all. The drinks - and especially the delicious Tohu wine range - were a hit, and while I didn't actually get to the food, it looked pretty good to me. Please pass on thanks to Michael and the other staff who did a great job on the night.. All in all, most impressed, and I can't think of anything that disappointed. I would definitely use the Wharewaka again.

FA'AVAOA KERR - PACIFIC BUSINESS TRUST (JUNE2012) Wow, huge thank you to you, Paul and team for the amazing time we had at Wharewaka on Saturday night. Everyone (especially Robert) was totally blown away by the whole experience - gorgeous venue, friendly/efficient staff and of course incredibly good food! ..... food was excellent the hangi especially received rave reviews from guests and platters of nibbles, chicken and Salmon were also a 12 out of 10! .... Thanks again Leah for all your help with planning and handling all my last minute changes – and please pass on thanks ... we’ve had a couple of work events at your place but will be encouraging friends/clients to hire Wharewaka for private functions!

JEFF GROENEWALD (APRIL 2012... Hi Paul and Keri, I wanted to thank you for a fantastic event on Saturday night. The venue was presented expertly, the staff on the night were great, in particular Vik. Nothing was a problem for him and whatever we asked for or needed was provided with pleasure. Having been in the hospitality game for many years, and our Regional Manager being an ex chef, we appreciate what goes into making these night happen. Wedding at Te Ruakura Te Wharewaka | Private Booking (MAR 2012).... Many thanks for your contribution (Red Pebble Team) to Kate and Arran's occasion on Saturday. While the weather wasn't perfect the venue was - our guests were unanimously complimentary about the church, reception venue and decor. The cafe was very busy with the nz v canada rwc game but service was impeccable and the pancakes were the best i have had in a cafe (and i have only been back in welly for 3 weeks having moved back home from auckland). Exceptional cafe proudly kiwi. Congratulations on this wonderful business, i will be back.

DALE WILLIAMS (April 2012)... Wharewaka, disabled people thank you. Credit where it is due. Went to a function last night at the stunning new Wharewaka on the Wellington waterfront. By contacting the manager, emailing them in advance and phoning them on arrival, we arranged for them to lower the electronic bollards on the Taranaki Street wharf gate to allow my own car, and also the car of a wheelchair-using friend, to come and park right next to the venue. They really went the extra mile for us.[We are both mobility card holders, and I get around on crutches]. Keri Retimanu of KPR Catering, you are a star! (And your food is very tasty, too.) People with mobility issues, and mobility cardholders, we wholeheartedly recommend this beautiful venue because of the consideration it shows to those of us in need.
